Oh, I really liked this!! I was hoping someone else would write something for the topic.

Darken forcing Kahlan to sleep in the same room with confessed Richard - what a perfect and twisted torture for her, and I can just hear Richard rattling on endlessly about his new BFF.

And Darken not even using Orden on her. I agree Darken would be endlessly bored by a life with no spark of challenge.

Loved the ending - hatred/desire/repulsion/passion all inseperable.
