This was so lovely and poignant. It's a nice change to look at Kahlan, Richard, Cara and Darken from another point of view.
Poor Dennee. You make her so real, very strong and unselfish. It would be unbelievably difficult to watch Kalan marry Lord Rahl with Cara at her side after everything she's endured.
So many great lines, but these are my favorites:
"She may be wearing someone else’s face, but she isn’t wearing someone else’s life." - this was just perfect, and heartbreaking.
and this:
"But just because the Midlands love the Seeker of Truth, doesn’t mean they don’t hate anyone calling himself Lord Rahl. Richard and Kahlan are trying to play both sides against the middle—sooner or later, they will inevitably get burned." - so much truth here, (and maybe foreshadowing of future stories?)
