Wow - Nicholas is only 6 and Kahlan is already planning on how she's going to stop him - with Nila's help. Nila - who, of course, won't ever be born if she does what she's supposed to do. Well, that's the crux of the matter, isn't it? Kahlan's not anxious to give up on her plan, but she is starting to have doubts. Plus, she's not dealing very rationally with the problem of Nicholas--stopping him is only going to get harder, as he gets older.
