The Magda Saerus Commentaries - that was in the chapter I posted last week in Serpent's Tooth. Kahlan is nagging Rachel for reading poetry rubbish instead of Mother Confessor Magda Searus's Commentaries. I figured the first Mother Confessor probably wrote down some sort of instructions for the ones to come after her - sort of like an Abbess writing down the rules of a new religious Order or something. (No problem - Maybe all of us are developing some sort of "hive mind" from our discussions at PP.)
I always saw Darken as being in his mid-thirties during the show and that there was about a ten to twelve year difference between he and Richard. But it's all speculation of course.
He's definitely the pure evil villain here - very dark.
